Me and my lady arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed and given one of their most luxurious suits. They have provided everything we have asked for and asked us at least 7 times if we are happy and have everything we need (we are very picky and know what we want). The room was very clean and really nice. They had huge Sony plasma TV that we enjoyed a lot. For a change the breakfast time was on request. It was very tasty and very good portion size. They had no forgotten to make my lady happy and serve her vegetarian dish. We have GREATLY ENJOYED OUR STAY, would highly recommend it.
We booked into this hotel despite negative reviews on the booking site. It turns out that we made the right decision. The staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed happy in their work. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel, good quality food cooked well. The hotel is just being refurbished after a period of closure so the décor is old but the rooms are comfortable and clean. I suspect that the people who left the negative reviews were expecting somewhere which was decorated yesterday... which this one definitely wasn't - but that shouldn't detract from the clean rooms, good food and good hospitality.
Even though the hotel needs updating and work doing , our room was clean and pleasant , hand sanitiser was provided and there to use . The room was acceptable , the bed was comfortable and bedding spotless and we had lovely clean , crisp white towels provided and Hannah was an amazing host and did her best to please even offering a nice continental breakfast up to our room These are difficult times as we know so we need to learn to be more accepting of changes that have to be made Thank you Hannah
I stayed one night for work purposes the bed was comfy the welcome was warm. It has a very homely feel which is a nice change from all the chains i usually stay in Check in was very quick and easy. It looks like the owners are putting effort in. I think the more guests they have i can only see it going from strength to strength.
